There always has to be a negative ninny somewhere. Try contributing to the discussion instead of complaining. I think that this looks like an awesome contest. I bet we are going to see some cool stuff come out of this!
This season had many new riders fighting for podium spots, more than we've ever seen, with some of the established names getting bumped further down the roster. Do you think that the overall skill and pace is getting faster, or are those established riders simply getting slightly slower?
John Tomac is your personal trainer... you must have some great Tomac stories. Can you tell us about what it's like to ride and train with him? Is he still an animal? Does he push you to the breaking point?
@jason-at-specialized, it's very cool to see feedback and info in here from you, the guy who actually designed the pedals featured above! I like seeing what the WC guys are running, but I'm thinking that I, along with a lot of others, would be better with the shorter pins. I like the sounds of being able to fine tune the pin height with washers as well.
Do you plan on maybe selling aftermarket kits for different lengths that would allow riders to experiment a bit?
Agreed. Dropper post make a xc or am ride so much more enjoyable and shredable! Its good to see a less expensive option. I saw that it will come on some of their bikes stock as well, good to see. I hope that they will soon be like disc brakes and come standard on most bikes around the $1000 range and up. Its a good time to be a mountain biker!
I love it. Fuck cancer! Where can I find information on the auction?
Nice. This little guard makes sense.
@tetonlarry, That is true.. sorry!
I've had guides from pretty much every company over the last 10 years and my guides never flop around. Then again, I do look after my bike... Maybe that's your issue? I don't like hype as much as anyone, but this is another option for riders that has less to go wrong with it. More options = better for riders. Don't like it or don't need it? Don't buy it!
@ajh4446,
Did you read the article or do you normally not think before typing? Truvativ isn't hiding the fact that it is pretty much a G2SL, there is no reason to. MRP makes some great guides... like the article says, I'm hoping that this guide will be the first of many new dh products.
hey thatdude1, how about telling us why you don't like these new brakes.. oh wait, you've never ridden them.
Have you ridden the Dynos? I have not, but I've had older Hayes' systems that worked great. I think I'll reserve judgment until I've actually ridden a set. The price is killer though, can't argue that. About Us
